EVENT: Future Vision: the Public Gallery in the 21st Century
The PGAV delivered its first conference with a national focus, Future Vision: the Public Gallery in the 21st Century at the Museum of Old and New Art, in Hobart. Over two days, Future Vision explored innovative approaches to curation, engaging audiences and private sector support for public galleries. Over 70 delegates from across Australia attended the conference.

Presentations were followed by interactive Q&A sessions – providing delegates with the opportunity to discuss their vision of the public gallery in the 21st century.
The conference included a tour of MONA followed by an in-depth presentation by front of house manager Justin Johnstone about the ways MONA engages audiences – including the innovative “O” mobile navigation system.
