Green Galleries
When: Tuesday 27 February 2018
Where: Sustainability Victoria, 50 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne VIC 3000

The first session in PGAV’s 2018 Professional Development program, Green Galleries is a one-day seminar and forum in which public gallery employees can gain a stronger understanding of how:

  • Victorian audiences perceive climate change;
  • Public galleries can become leaders in the field of environmental sustainability through new or refurbished infrastructure and programming.

Hear about the latest results from social research into climate change; glean lessons from real gallery case studies; gain insight into government funding programs and information through Sustainability Victoria’s TAKE2 initiative; and lob your infrastructure grenade to a panel of brave industry professionals. Speakers include Guy Abrahams (CLIMARTE), Richard Ennis (Incinerator Gallery), Robert Heather (New England Regional Art Museum), Mim Lowe, Dianna McDonald, Luke Wilkinson (Sustainability Victoria), and Sonja Syre (Denton Corker Marshall).
